Aluminum Table Legs
The vision was a table that is as much a statement piece as it is a practical part of this dreamy outdoor living space.
We were tasked with legs that allowed the table to be dinner height from one side and bar height on the other. There were a few constraints built into this task, first being the step distance between the ground and the patio platform. The customers had also already chosen the table top they wanted to use, and the irregular shape meant careful consideration when determining how the table legs would attach.
Either of those alone wouldn't be too difficult, but the design inspiration for these meant we had quite the challenge on our hands.
Starting with a flat sheet of aluminum we hand cut and formed eight individual pieces that would later be tig welded into two finished legs. The end result was a visual dynamic table that starts as many conversations as it holds.
